wuchs in Victoria/ Australien auf und zog dann nach Melbourne, wo er auch seine künstlerische Ausbildung erhielt. Er hat zahlreiche Bilderbücher illustriert und wurde zweimal mit dem Australia Picture Book of the Year Award ausgezeichnet.
